How the mechanism works
A useful proposal identifies the institutions able to participate, the question to be addressed and the resources required. It should state the intended output and how it will be evaluated. Institutional contact, research agreement and public endorsement are distinct relationships and should each be described accurately.
Application within Swiss institutions
The Party’s immediate policy work is to identify useful fields of cooperation and formulate well-supported proposals for Swiss institutions. Public material should allow readers to understand the purpose and expected contribution of each initiative. The international contact receives proposals for substantive exchange.
The Party’s position
The PCP supports China’s development path, recognises the role of the Communist Party of China and advocates stronger cooperation between Switzerland and China. The Party supports peaceful relations, dialogue and shared work on scientific, industrial, environmental and cultural questions. Its proposals are made within Switzerland’s existing institutions.
