Request a political or research exchange

An exchange can concern a policy question, Chinese development experience, research cooperation or the Party’s programme. State the subject, the proposed participants and the form of discussion sought. Explain whether you seek clarification, a research discussion or consideration of a concrete proposal. Press interviews should use the press contact.

Preparation

Provide a short introduction and any essential reading. A useful exchange has a manageable question and a shared understanding of its purpose. The parties should agree separately on public attribution, recording and any resulting publication. A request for discussion does not establish an institutional partnership.

Contact

Choose the contact suited to your request. General correspondence concerns the Party and its programme; membership correspondence concerns an application or member matter; press correspondence concerns interviews and published statements. A research or international exchange proposal should state the subject, the institution concerned and the work proposed.
